Robert “Bob” Edds is one of this community’s very special friends and a deeply cherished volunteer. Together with his wife Debora, son Cory and daughter-in-law Eeva,  they are proud to issue the Edds’ Family Challenge to match your gift $1 for $1 up to $50,000 to build Habitat for Humanity Home #53 during the fall of 2022 for the Tiell family.

I have volunteered for Habitat for Humanity Findlay/Hancock County since the first Apostle Build House #12 in 2007. This has allowed me a front row seat to the impact this well-run organization has on our city. Habitat enriches our community one family at a time by providing them with a safe, comfortable home. I am most impressed with how Habitat empowers hard-working families to build a brighter future. It is a wonderful program that is making a difference.

Meet the Tiells

Newlyweds Austin and Cari Tiell are from Carey and beginning their lives together.  Inflation, soaring rents and the housing crisis crushed their dream for homeownership (especially with their need for a fully ADA-compliant home).   With encouragement from Austin’s mom, they applied to Habitat and are now fully approved for Home #53.  They are enthusiastically fulfilling their partnership requirements of sweat equity, financial education and savings.
