Every hand can make a difference with Habitat for Humanity. Whatever your skill set, stage of life, or passion, there is a place for you here.
We build because everyone deserves a decent place to live. When you support our families you stand alongside them as they learn to stand on their own.
We are always seeking partner families for future home builds. Eligibility is based on current housing conditions, income and willingness to provide “sweat equity.”
You can share in our celebration of 25 years of building and helping families with this special edition 25th Anniversary memory book. The book features photos from all of our partner families throughout the years, as well as volunteers and highlights all of our program areas. Available to you for purchase for $50! Talisha Balicki became the owner of Home #58 on Logan Avenue this summer. Talisha is a single mother working as a state tested nurses aid at the Heritage. She began her journey with Habitat in 2021, frustrated with not having a stable place to raise her daughters.
“Home means roots being put down. A place to build memories, a place to gather no matter what age,” says Talisha. “Somewhere you’re comfortable and accepted and can always be yourself. Home is a place where my kids can always come to.”
While each of our partner families has their own unique story and journey to home ownership, they all have one thing in common - they are thrilled to have a home of their own! Click read more to view the stories of our newest homeowners.
