The affiliate will begin accepting applications in the spring and will announce the six-week application window after the first of the year.

The Home Repair program for Habitat for Humanity is a unique, and much-needed program to serve low income families in Findlay/Hancock County. Since 2013 the program has provided a variety of home repairs and modifications with a priority placed on those that address safety, health, energy efficiency and accessibility issues.

The Home Repair program for Habitat for Humanity is a unique, and much-needed program to serve low income families in Findlay/Hancock County. Since 2013 the program has provided a variety of home repairs and modifications with a priority placed on those that address safety, health, energy efficiency and accessibility issues.
To qualify, families must have owned their home for at least two years and be current on their property taxes. Priority is given to veterans, seniors, and disabled homeowners.
The application process may take up to 6 months before repairs are scheduled to begin on your home due to overwhelming demand for this program in our community.
Our Repair program should not be considered an emergency repair service, if you are in need of immediate services, please contact a certified contractor. Outdoor repairs including roofs, ramps, and landscaping will not be completed in the months of November through February due to weather.
